As you move from a monolithic to microservices-based architecture, you'll run into a variety of challenges that can be addressed through the adoption and use of a service mesh. A service mesh is a dedicated infrastructure layer for managing service-to-service communication to make it visible, manageable, and controlled. In this presentation, we'll compare and contrast the leading service mesh solutions - Istio, Linkerd and Consul Connect - with emphases on their use in Kubernetes (container) and networking environments.
