In this talk, we will demonstrate exposing Neutron networks to Kubernetes pods in a Cloud-native way without breaking Kubernetes networking.

Neutron is just a ‘network service’. This means we can use Network Service Mesh to easily connect a pod to a neutron network.

In this demonstration, we connect a VPP enabled pod via memif and an OVS powered VM to an OpenDaylight powered Neutron network. We then demonstrate connectivity between the Kubernetes pod and the VM.

Finally, we discuss the opportunities of this new integration.
