Far Edge or single and dual node configurations for Edge are critical for use cases such as vRAN, uCPE and IoT gateways. Most of the discussuons todate have been, how to adopt OpenStack to run in a single or dual node configurations and how to federate using Keystone. We have previosuly seen demonstrations of this at the OpenStack Summit in Boston and at other events last year.

This presentation provides a different take at far edge blueprints. It proposes a far edge blueprint using Kubernetes only to deploy micro services and Virtual machines at edge nodes.
This presentation shows a solution using Kubernetes to address all the requirements of Far Edge, managing VMs, Containers, remote provisioning, clustering, distributed clustering and federation for easy deployment of sites.
