Edge Computing Open Source projects are sprouting like weeds. There are over 32 Open Source Projects that reference Edge Computing in some way – and if there are more we don’t know about, join the session and share!  In this session, we will talk about what is happening in the Open Source community with all these different projects and attempt to understand their purpose and architectures within the Edge Computing context.  There are lots of constituents and stakeholders, from Telco operators to hardware vendors, that all are looking for a piece of the pie.  This panel will help you to sort it all out. Just a short list of some of the projects to consider:
• ONAP Edge Automation Group
• Akraino
• Mano
• OpenEdge
• Cloud Native Networking
• EdgeX Foundary
• OpenStack Ironic, Cyborg, Airship and StarlingX
• OPNFV Edge Cloud Project
• Multiple vendor projects
• And the list goes on…
