Dan Connolly is Assistant Vice President - Member Technical Staff in the
SDN Platform and Systems Organization. Dan leads systems engineering activities for
Target OSS and ECOMP / ONAP, AT&Ts platform for real-time, policy-driven orchestration and
automation of physical and virtual network functions.

Dan is an innovative technical leader in network and systems software
architecture and design. He has led a number of successful large scale, real-time, software
platform design and implementation efforts including ONAP/ECOMP, LPP, CANOPI, and
BBNMS. He is instrumental in the design and delivery of key network and business initiatives
including 5G / LTE, U-Verse, ROADM, AVPN, ASE/ASEoD, ADI/ADIoD, Flexware, and SD-WAN. He
was awarded the Technology Development President’s Award in 2014 for systems development
of the Network On Demand (NoD) program.
